JCB have a number of worldwide business-critical systems and was struggling to recruit quality resources to support and maintain the applications. This was further compounded by team members resigning from the business and the system knowledge leaving with them. JCB went out to market for a software consultancy with expertise in quickly learning new systems and business processes with the longer-term view that they would support and enhance going forwards.

Propel, as a leading provider of development resources was selected to undertake this project. With a short window for knowledge transfer, we quickly learnt about the worldwide JCB business and software processes.

The smooth knowledge transfer meant that the service levels were unaffected and the business users were unaware a transfer took place. Longer-term, we have increased the stability of the system and delivered numerous business initiatives.
