Challenge

Quickline is a rapidly growing business that brings lighting fast broadband to rural communities. They were in the process of managing and planning a network rollout across the country using third-party systems.

But, as these third-party systems weren’t compatible, this meant that they had access to a vast amount of data with no way of getting the full potential out of it, this was slowing down processes, impacting business cross-sell and upsell, retention management, and impeding the customer experience.

Quickline needed a clearer view of their customers, and a simple way of managing rollout communications and processes.

Solution

To support Quickline in their growth, Propel Tech recommended a strategy of consolidating all customer data in one format and one system, providing streamlined data management, a clear view of customer information, the ability to review data in cohorts, full transparency, and one single point of customer management. 

Propel Tech set about understanding the full business needs from the system, mapping and developing a user-friendly data platform/CRM system designed to bring all the data together in a common format, simplify engagement and use of data, and improve forward planning, customer engagement, and MI reporting.  

Over just a 12-week period, we created a serverless solution using Microsoft’s free and open-source .NET platform and Amazon Web Services (AWS) hosting.

Impact

The new data platform that Propel Tech created for Quickline now automatically imports customer data from multiple sources, allowing Quickline to better understand customers, meet customers’ needs faster, communicate with customers better, and continually find new business opportunities - and with a powerful simple interface that helps to automate processes. In addition, the CRM solution has the flexibility to incorporate future integrations of new data sets, automate manual tasks, identify any data consistency issues and cost-effectively scale as the business grows.
