Challenge

LSL Property Services is the second-largest estate agent group in the UK, Your Move and Reeds Rains are part of its portfolio. The conveyancing system is the backbone of the business, it is relied upon to process, store and share information regarding the sale of a property. Due to growth and changes in the conveyancing market, the challenge was to move to a new system without disrupting the vital day-to-day functionality that the team relied upon.

Solution

Propel Tech recommended a bespoke solution in order to meet specific needs and be usable across their ecosystem.

What they needed was an enhanced solution that was more user-friendly, delivered greater functionality, and integrated with key internal sales systems as well as their external service providers such as legal, insurance, and survey providers, whose services were vital to the conveyancing process.

The system needed to be intuitive to use, and it needed to deliver transparency across the conveyancing process - all while being easy to update in order to ensure any regulatory changes could be factored in.

Propel Tech built a completely bespoke solution, factoring in the many variables and considering “what if” scenarios to ensure it would not fail. In addition, it could produce powerful reporting that could produce different levels of business reports.

The new systems improved integration, and communication, it delivered a much-enhanced user experience that created efficiencies, avoiding frustrations and allowing seamless multitasking.

This saved time by removing manual checks and tasks, all parties could see the status of a sale in real-time, and customers could get an up-to-date view in an instant.
