Key Findings 23/24: Software and AI should be a force for good

Our 2023/24 survey captured over 800 responses from across the globe, revealing a diverse set of aspirations for bespoke software. The results showed a clear demand for technology to address pressing issues in business, the workplace, and the world. 

From the  23/24 survey, four central software and AI themes emerged:

1. Software and AI can improve individuals working relationships, supporting better well-being, collaboration, and problem-solving.  
2. Software and AI should create efficiency, and revenue growth, and improve decision-making in business. 
3. Globally AI and software have the power to improve ethical practices, and sustainability, and  level out healthcare inequalities 
4. AI needs caution when adopting - it could do harm but it should be used to support and transform lives.

Where will software and AI take us in 2025?

Looking forward, we see both immense opportunities and challenges. AI and bespoke software are poised to not only transform industries, but also tackle some of the world’s most critical issues. Will 2025 be the year software helps close healthcare gaps, ensures global sustainability, or level the playing field for ethical business practices?
